Changes During Project
Throughout my research journey, I encountered numerous challenges and had to explore different solutions. Whenever I faced a significant turning point, I made it a point to discuss my thoughts and options with my colleagues before changing my research direction. This collaborative approach helped me feel more confident about the decisions I made.Initially, I felt comfortable diving into unfamiliar subjects because the outcome of my research wasn't the main focus. Instead, I prioritized expanding my knowledge and pushing beyond my comfort zone. However, as the final presentation day approaches, I realize it's crucial to present something that encapsulates the essence of my research and the insights I've gained.
Personal Reflections
During my internship, I learned a lot about myself, especially regarding my learning and working patterns. At the beginning, I felt overwhelmed by the lack of a clear routine and a solid understanding of my role and responsibilities. It took some time to adjust and find my footing.Gradually, I discovered that the key was to pace myself and adapt to the new environment. I learned to trust my ability to learn and grow, even when faced with unfamiliar challenges. This mindset allowed me to remain calm and confident, even when venturing into unknown territory. Reflecting on this journey, I realize how much I've grown both personally and professionally.
Conclusions:
Navigating through an unfamiliar field and striving to understand and map out the complexities has taught me a great deal about myself and my preferred learning methods. I learned to stay calm and composed, even when things didn't go as planned. This experience has reinforced the importance of adaptability and perseverance in the face of uncertainty.
Challenges:
One of the main challenges was the lack of a defined use case for my research. This meant I had to come up with various scenarios and explore different technologies depending on the purpose. This exploratory approach broadened my understanding of the research landscape, but it also made it difficult to feel fully confident in handling a complete use case.Despite these challenges, trying out new programs and methods was a valuable learning experience. It expanded my knowledge and helped me develop a more comprehensive view of the research environment. While I may not have all the answers yet, I feel better equipped to tackle future challenges and continue my growth in this field.
